Bay Area

A chef in your kitchen, San Francisco.

Not yet. Livin serves Atlanta and Los Angeles today. San Francisco is next, and the waitlist is how you hear the day we start cooking here.

Two fields. We email you once, the week we open.

The menu you'll be ordering from.

The same menu Atlanta and Los Angeles order from today. It rotates, so this is what is on it right now, not a sample built for San Francisco.

Your chef makes these, and hundreds more, built around your household profile. No fixed menu, no locked-in weeks.

How it works

No planning, no shopping, no cleanup.

  1. You pick the meals

Choose from the menu, filtered to your household. Allergies and hard nos are handled at the ingredient level.
  2. Your chef shops and cooks

One visit, in your kitchen, between 9am and 7pm. You don't have to be home. They clean up before leaving.
  3. Dinner is five minutes away

A week of dinners portioned and labeled in your fridge, with heating notes on every one.

The cost, honestly

About $26a plate, groceries included

A plate is one dinner, for one person. Every two kids count as one. Your total depends on how many people eat, how many dinners you want from a visit, and how often your chef comes. San Francisco will price the same way Atlanta and Los Angeles do.

Questions about San Francisco.

When will Livin open in San Francisco?

There is no date set. Opening a market depends on having enough chefs in the area, so the timing follows chef hiring, not a calendar.

Which parts of San Francisco will you serve?

All of San Francisco is in scope at launch. The ZIP you give on the waitlist helps decide which areas get chefs first.

How is this different from meal delivery?

A chef cooks in your kitchen. You choose the meals from the menu, the chef shops, cooks, and leaves the food portioned for the week.

Are you hiring chefs in San Francisco?

Yes. Chef hiring is what gates the opening. If you cook professionally in the Bay Area, the application is linked on this page.
