Having someone prepare your meals in your home is the easiest way to enjoy fresh, healthy meals.
Here’s how it works and what you can expect.

We match you with personal chefs for in-home meal preparation services that are reasonably priced and make it easier for you to make space for everything else. We also love getting fresh, better food into your home!
You will set your date, time and menu.
Your chef will shop, prepare multiple meals in a single meal session, and clean up (you won’t have to do a thing!).
Livin is here to make it all easy and ensure your needs are being met and your chef provides excellent service.

How do you find the chefs?
Recruiting and screening great chefs and supporting them to provide amazing meal services is a top priority of ours. We recruit chefs who have professional culinary experience. They then complete interviews and a background check. Chef Danielle, head of Culinary Excellence, also meets every chef to review their cooking skills, cleanliness, organization, and hospitality before we determine if they are a good fit for the Livin chef network.
How does the menu work?
Our menu focuses on providing complete meals with fresh ingredients and typically a lean protein, grain, and vegetable in each menu item. If you don't see anything you like, you have the option to add your own menu items, make a request, or change any of the items you currently see (i.e. remove carbs and replace with extra veggies or request a different side). Additionally, we change the menu each month but subscribers get to keep their favorite menu items available in their account.
Do the chefs use my equipment?
Typically your chef will use what’s in your home, this includes pots, pans, appliances, and your food storage containers. If there is anything you don’t want them to use, just note it in your Livin profile! Your chef will adjust accordingly.
How do I set-up my first service?
Click sign-up anywhere on this page to get started. You’ll set-up your plan, process your payment, and then set your date, time, and menu for service. It’s that easy. More details on each step are below.

First you will tell us what you need prepared in your meal service:

The number of servings per item
Requested add ons like organic
How often you would like that service
You will have the option to do a one time service or a completely flexible subscription.
Payment is processed based on the above details.

After payment you will receive a credit for each service you purchased. You may schedule those service credits for any dates and times.
Pick your date, select your start time, and select & customize your menu items. If you are a subscriber you can also request the chefs you want for your service.

Before your first service, we ask that you complete your Family and Kitchen profile. Here you will inform your chef of any allergies, dietary requirements, or preferences you have. You can also let them know what equipment and tools you have available for their use. This ensures your chef is well-prepared.
I don’t even know what day it is, how far in advance do I need to plan this?
All we need is 48 hours.
Need a plan for next week and it’s somehow Friday already? You can have a Livin chef at your house within 48 hours. Once a meal service starts, meals are typically ready within 1.5 to 3 hours, depending on the size of your service order.
Do you deliver?
No, we do not deliver. Our customers tell us that we offer something really unique and valuable - the freshness and health of a home cooked meal without the hassle of preparing (read: planning, shopping, cooking) it themselves. We simply wouldn’t be able to provide the same quality or customization any other way.
Do I have to subscribe?
No, but a subscription is completely flexible and you get some extra perks with it! Having a subscription means you are automatically charged monthly or weekly (your choice!) for services that occur at least one time per month. Subscriptions are completely flexible - change, pause, or cancel anytime. Additionally, with a subscription you enjoy the following benefits:

Expanded and personalized menu created from your favorite menu items and always available despite Livin’s monthly menu updates
Option to change your plan as needed - increase or reduce services, week to week even - we’ll work with you to find the best plan for your needs
