Terms of Service
Two documents govern use of Livin: the Customer Terms of Use for clients booking meal services, and the Cook Terms of Use for chefs providing services through the platform. Please review the document that applies to you.
Customer Terms of Use

Eligibility & Account Requirements
- Users must be 18 years or older
- Each individual creates one account per person
- Invalid credit cards or inaccurate information may result in account suspension
Booking & Cancellation
- Customers may cancel without penalty 48 hours prior to the Meal Service Appointment start time
- Late cancellations within 48 hours result in full Meal Fee charges
- Cleaning fees of $50 apply for unkempt kitchens
Cook Terms of Use

Independent Contractor Status
You are, at all times, an independent contractor. Cooks are not employed by Livin and are free to work for other employers outside Livin clients.
Background Checks & Eligibility
- Livin may conduct criminal background checks through verification services
- Cooks must represent that they are legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- Cannot have convictions for felonies, violence, abuse, theft, or sex offender registration
